labor” (Ecclesiastes 4:9) is a very popular Bible verse
which we’ve
limited to
marriage but it’s about Partnership in all its various forms.
It’s about people teaming up to accomplish a vision hence
“they have a good reward for their labour!”
Teaming up to accomplish a Ministry assignment has always been God’s idea
as we see Jesus having people support His Ministry in Luke 8:1-3
“Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod’s business
manager; Susanna; and many
others who were contributing from their own resources to support
Jesus
and his disciples.” Luke 8:3 NLT
Paul also had major Partners - the Philippians!
“As you know, you Philippians were the only
ones who gave me financial
help when I first brought you the Good News and then traveled on
from
Macedonia. No other church did this. Even when I was in Thessalonica
you
sent help more than once.”
Philippians 4:15-16 NLT
Partnership is basically about supporting a divine mission and helping
the ministry to touch and bless others as you have been blessed.
